How does our production work?

The production process of a pilot electrical or electronic device begins by printing a pattern on a translucent film on a “photoplotter” which is designed for the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The printed pattern then needs to be illuminated on the PCB. It is illuminated by ultraviolet radiation in an image setting device for several seconds to minutes. We use printed circuit boards with a special photosensitive surface on which the pattern is applied. After applying the pattern, the board is immersed in the developer solution (sodium carbonate), the illuminated portion is washed away, and the non-illuminated portion remains displayed on the board. The board thus prepared is then placed in an etching solution (sodium peroxide or ferric chloride) and the illuminated unprotected copper portion is removed. After this process, holes are still drilled in the board for the outlets of the electronic components.

The next step in the production is to mount the PCB and solder the individual components. For outlet components we use manual mounting and standard manual soldering, but for surface mount components we use an automated mounting process with final soldering in a furnace. The process of mounting these surface components is already carried out in the mounting machine. Once mounted, the board is carefully transferred to the fusion furnace where the components are soldered together.

Once the circuit board is manufactured and assembled, the process of testing and debugging begins (called ongoing development). For simpler products, the visual inspection and verification of its functionality or testing of specific functionality is sufficient, but for more complex products, it is necessary to carry out more extensive measurements and adjustments, which are necessary for ensuring the correct functionality of the device.
